Hi all!! Given the interest in finding a new spot for our MeetUp, I thought we might try Stern Grove for our March meeting. I have not been there, but understand it is has grass (not fenced in though).

Crestlake and Vale
Unfenced - off leash dog are is in the second terrace of the park and contiguous to Stern Grove and next to the parking lot at Crestlake and Vale streets. The 0.2 mile Stern Grove Trail is also and off leash area connecting Pine Lake Meadow to the Stern Grove. In Stern Grove the off leash area is in the northern area between 21st and 23rd are at Wawona St.

    Having never been to the old location I can't make any comparisons, but I will say that once I figured out where the park was we had a nice time. Lots of wide open lawn to run around on and chase other dogs... I worried a little with it not being enclosed, but Odin never went too far. It was so great to meet other Boston Terriers and their families, and it was fun watching them play. We had a wonderful morning, and we plan to join you all again next month (-:

    We had a great time last month! Karl being a Santa Cruz Beach dog loved hanging out in the city last month, but we will miss this month but we committed to going too Paco Collars Grand Opening Reception Saturday March 21st, 11am-7pm Paco Collars Store 2905 Shattuck Ave. Berkeley, CA 94705 www.pacocollars.com Maybe some of you want to attend after the meet up?

    PS. i'm an sf pet photographer - so I'll be there (with harley) and camera in hand to shoot all of these cuties!! :-) ...can't wait!!
